Under Section 27(c) of the Immigration Act, No. 13 of 2002, permanent residence may be granted to a foreign national who has received a permanent employment offer in South Africa. Compliance requires proof that the position was properly advertised to South African citizens and permanent residents, and that no suitably qualified local candidate was available. The application must be supported by statutory evidence, including employer certification, professional body recognition, and compliance with the Companies Act, 2008 and tax registration requirements.
